This is where you will meet your lawyers from the start-up phase again, if not before. So be nice to them and pay their bills promptly – after negotiating a good deal, hopefully.
Even if you have already drawn up clear terms and conditions and contract templates for your German business based on the German Civil Code (BGB) and all other requirements, these are of little value in other countries. If, for example, you want to sell your goods via online shops that are actually based in the US, the legal basis must be appropriate.
